Our vision
Belleek Hub was set up and is managed by the recently established social enterprise Belleek Community Interest Company (registered in Northern Ireland under company number NI710423).
Our vision is that the Hub will become a vibrant and thriving cross-border community asset at the heart of Belleek Village and surrounding areas.
Developed for and by the local community, the Hub is open to all. As part of our services we will offer:
- educational facilities, including a library and reading room
- a business centre, with dedicated space for confidential advice surgeries, as well as printing and photocopying services
- business and technical skills development and training
- recreational classes to cater for a wide range of interests
- a busy calendar of social and cultural events
Most importantly, the Hub will offer a warm space to connect - for everyone, young and old, from all sections of our community.
Our commitment
We will actively engage with and serve all cross-sections of our community by ensuring our activities and services are relevant and shaped through local preference and feedback.
We will work in partnership with local special interest groups, faith communities and local businesses to ensure good community relations are maintained, encouraged, and cultivated.
We will seek and encourage opportunities to create employment within the Hub to help stimulate our local economy.
We will maintain the Belleek Hub building, facilities and equipment in good order and improve and enhance them as funds allow.
We will take steps to ensure the financial security of Belleek Hub in the medium and long term by increasing the overall income and securing efficiency savings wherever possible.
Coming soon
We are busy refurbishing and modernising the internal spaces of the Hub and have some exciting projects ready to launch in early 2025, including the library – with reading room, book club, author signings and readings, and the cafeteria – with daily and weekly newspapers.
